Investing in Digital Land - Crazy or Genius?
In the previous video, I mentioned that I recently purchased some digital land on the Decentraland platform.
In this video, I now want to discuss in greater detail the case for investing in digital land, and where the value in doing so stems from.

Digital land is an interesting concept that definitely has potential as the digital world continues to expand. More of the population will become attracted to the concept given how socialized the internet has become and the millions still be onboarded to the internet. However, I agree that it seems risky as nobody knows which platform will succeed. Another concern is how scalable could it be if on the Ethereum network if adoption were to increase. Finally, we will also have real world concepts impact valuation like you mention as "location, location, location" is key when considering land in general.
Very interesting, I had always wondered what exactly decentraland was. Since the beginning of time property has been a major asset class for wealth and continues to be to this day. I would imagine this would continue in a different form, as you say however establishing which platform will be the winner is the key.

There are no restrictions on virtual advertising, because it’s accessible digitally and doesn’t mar the physical look of a city.
I would say risky but things like Second life and Entropia show even after a long time there a still a demand for it. With a blockchain it more laxer for the digital land to operate...
Still feel it is risky though but can definitely succeed with the right platform and an investor with the right eye for location

I thinks its a great decession its genius. Its not easy to purchase land in big city like New york etc. But digital lands gives you way to approach it. But risky though but can definitely succeed with the right platform
