My understanding is that the decimal point can have an eternal amount of zeroes to the right, so as we have seen, 1btc keeps valuing, now people like me can only afford .01. If trend continues, most people will only be able to afford. 0000000001 or whatever. If this is all true, then the people who dont get in will be really screwed. Also watch out for the august 1st fork...could change things and people will lose bitcoin.
