GAS - The sleeping giant hiding underneath NEO's shadow

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

NEO has be exploding recently for a variety of reasons which has drawn a lot of attention to NEO. However since it was recently just released outside of China, there's only one exchange outside of China listing NEO, and that is Bittrex. However what they aren't listing, is something very fundamental to the functioning of the NEO blockchain, and that is GAS. Every address that holds GAS (so long as you aren't using Bittrex to store your NEO) generates GAS overtime, without having to run your wallet 24/7.

Now, there has been very little attention to GAS, which has yet to fully breakout like NEO did and is still comparatively very cheap at roughly 50% the cost. I picked some up earlier today, and will be picking some more up shortly after making this post. While there's no guarantee GAS will go up the same way NEO did, it's well worth holding onto for the long term regardless so you can't really go wrong by picking up a few coins. Currently the only exchange selling GAS is Binance a Chinese exchange.

Thanks and have a good one!

How do you get gas? (other than eating beans). Do I need to store NEO in a wallet?

You can either buy them on Binance exchange, or keep them in a wallet like NEON where it'll acrue overtime.
