A blockchain is a linked set of records called blocks that grows as new data is added to the system. A “Block” contains a hashed key which links it to the previous block, a timestamp for when it was altered, and transaction data; This technology is fast becoming the way in which the world operates.

Chief Commericial Officer and Head of Operations for Playboy’s digital platforms, Reena Patel recently stated “As the popularity of alternative payment methods continues to grow around the world, along with the reach Playboy’s digital platforms, we felt it was important to give our 100 million monthly consumers increased payment flexibility,”

Customers will be able to access the brands exclusive content by Vice Industry Token, among other leading cryptocurrency tokens.

Amongst the first of the media platforms to feature the new wallet is Playboy TV.
With this integration with Vice Industry Token customers will earn tokens to vote on content and be able to use these along with there own currencies to observe original content.

The United States Department of Labor also recently announced a partnership with Coca-Cola and the Blockchain Trust Accelerator.
The venture is working to establish secure computerized transaction protocols that execute terms of a contract as well as establishing higher verification standards to prevent forced labor and child labor whilst securing a registry for employees.

Yahoo! Japan will buy BitARG shares, corresponding to 40 percent of capital, through Tokyo’s YJFX, a retail foreign exchange broker owned by Yahoo! Japan Corporation and founded in 2003.
From April 2018 onwards, a number of YJFX executives and engineers will focus on the development of the new exchange system at the headquarters of BitARG, preparing the corporate governance structure as well as a customer management system, and internal control.The plan is to launch a cryptocurrency exchange by April 2019
