Vertcoin Reddit

Hello everyone, sorry I've been away so long, been very busy traveling, working on the book and spitting fiya on my trap album.

Anyway,

I have been researching a lot on the importance of the work that is put into an online presence for cryptocurrencies for the new book. I got stuck on the Vertcoin (VTC) Reddit page. I think they do such a great job across their entire online image and so, I featured them in a section of the book. I wanted to share this blurb with you and ask that you check them out if only to learn from their online efforts. They provide a great example of online organization. Cheers to them.

"Vertcoin’s (VTC) Reddit is a great example of a well thought out, well-organized page. A quick look at the borders and corners gives you a feel for the care and consideration they have for providing a useful and enjoyable space for their community.

They have a “bounty” banner which lists the work they need doing and what the pay is. Each link is connected to a Reddit thread. So we’ve learned two things right here. They are paying for work, in Vertcoin, which is awesome, and they are reaching out to the larger community to help grow their organization with elements like promotional videos, advertising and more. Collecting from a large pool of potential skilled people shows humility and wisdom about building an organization.

They also have a live ticker in the corner, a fun 'home' icon which spins when you put your mouse over it and the whole page is outfitted with their signature green and modern drop shadow style.

Lastly, their right-hand side is filled with great modifications to a basic Reddit page which provides tons of quick facts regarding technical details, links to all social media, exchanges and tons more.

The Reddit categories are well organized and new posts pages provide a legend explaining where you should post based on what category it fits in. This kills a step in the moderation process on their side, showing they understand the importance of automating that which is automatable. It also reduces your confusion and stress about how to honor post etiquette. It’s in the details, and they’re dialed in. +1"
