Nowadays cryptocurrencies have become a worldwide phenomenon recognized by most people. While nevertheless in some way geeky and not understood by most people, governments, banks still numerous companies are aware of its importance.
In the recent years, people have had a hard time finding a prominent software company a big accounting firm, a major bank or a government that did not study cryptocurrencies, or publish a paper about it or start a blockchain-project.

What is cryptocurrency?
A cryptocurrency is a digital asset originated to work as a channel of trade using cryptography for assured transactions and to regulate the formation of supplementary units of the currency. Cryptocurrencies are categorized as a subset of digital currencies and are also grouped as a subset of alternative currencies and virtual currencies.

Decentralized cryptocurrency is generated by the whole cryptocurrency system cooperatively, at a rate which is expressed when the structure is created and which is publicly known. In centralized banking and economic structure such as the Federal Reserve System, corporate boards or governments supervise the source of currency by printing units of fiat money or demanding additions to digital banking ledgers. In case of decentralized cryptocurrency, corporations or governments cannot construct new units, and have not so far delivered assistance for other companies, corporate entities or banks which hold asset value assessed in it. The fundamental technical system upon which decentralized cryptocurrencies are constructed was created by the group or individual known as Satoshi Nakamoto.

How to invest in cryptocurrency?
Given the drastic rise, it's no wonder that investors are appealing to figure out how to get into the Bitcoin marketplace. But there are many other cryptocurrencies and blockchain companies on the stock exchange where stakeholders can channel their money.

However, investing in a cryptocurrency is way more different than investing in the typicle regular stock. When invested in a company, people are purchasing shares of that company and basically own an particularly small percentage of it. When invested in cryptocurrencies, people obtain digital tokens that oblige different purposes.
