Although digibyte looks pretty promising, i think there are some other great alternatives out there. And comparing it to bitcoin doesn't really say much, because the technology behind bitcoin is basically shit compared to some alt coins.
Take a look at these:
Komodo
Pivx
peercoin
dont get me wrong, i like digibyte as well :)
Digibyte is great, they focus in other industry as well such as Gaming.
Pivx is also good too!
