To the Moon with Max & Stacy

Here to announce that Max and I are going to be producing a new weekly cryptocurrency show for you. The exclusive first postings will be here on Steemit, but my question to you is: should it be audio only? Or do you prefer video as well?

Before you instinctively say video, just realise that many guests might actually provide better interviews off screen. Radio tends to get people to open up more as they're not self-conscious about their appearance or angle of camera etc.

There are plenty of crypto shows out there with tips on trading, etc, we won't be doing that. We're looking at big picture man on the moon and the great cheese pie in the sky stuff!

Anyway, I'd love your input in the comments section below!

Here's the artwork for the show:

I'd love video, but I understand that's much more work. Looking forward to seeing it either way!

I would like to see a weekly live stream where you can engage a bit with the audience. Also, I do prefer video over podcast, but I’ve done my fair share of podcast listening! Excited for the new show!!

Hi Stacy and Max. You can do video and post it to DTube, as DTube uses the Steem blockchain, which means you earn Steem/SBD as you do for a normal Steemit post. It also therefore appears in everybody's Steemit feed.

Looking forward to your new program. =)

Good point!!! I haven't used it yet. Will definitely give that a try. Thanks for reminding me.

Then, if you do decide to go the podcast / audio route, there's also DSound, which uses similar technology to DTube. So, DTube is to YouTube as DSound is to Sound Cloud.

This is one of the great things about the Steem platform, people can build atop of it and offer more options than those that already existed.

I haven't used DSound yet, but have viewed and uploaded videos to DTube. It works a treat.

I kind of think that audio only will be the best option as everyone on earth has a phone whereas not everyone has a laptop, lighting, camera, etc to set up for a video interview - the set up for our guest would require they do work for at least 15 minutes or so. Think the less we have to impose the greater variety of guests. Who knows. We can experiment with both options. Re: DTube - do I need to create a separate account or do I just use my steemit credentials?

You use your normal Steemit credentials. It uses an application layer called Steem Connect, so it never stores your keys.

If you do some searches, you will find quite a few tutorials on how use DTube. It is very streamlined. Here's one.

Only thing to keep in mind when posting a video, you have to assign at least one tag, and do not include the # symbol, otherwise it will complain with a generic error.

#video #cryptocurrency - Wrong!
video cryptocurrency - Correct!!! =)

If you have any other questions, let me know.

I listen to podcasts during the day whilst I work. So to be a bit selfish, audio is my vote !! Also like the sound of guests feeling more relaxed. And it avoids Max bringing plucky out of retirement, the more the better !

Todos en la tierra no comprenden ingles. Solamente Keiser report esta en español

By the way, I did try using dsound but it wouldn't accept my credentials, said my password was invalid even though I was able to use same to log on to dtube . . . Anyway, just using Archive.org for now.

I just successfully logged into DSound with my Steemit username and POSTING PRIVATE KEY. Did you use that key?

One of my favorite shows

+1 this couple is great! they are both smart and fun!

@keiserreport I love you both Max and Stacey! I am sure any option, audio or video will be great! Greetings from Cryptospain amigos! :)

Can we atleast get Max and Stacy on cam ?

Max Keiser beats 'Jamie Dimon' bankster

Sounds like a good path.
podcasts are so much easier to host and download.

Plus, now is the time when the people, and not just the geeks, need to learn about cryptos. What they are, and what they can do for them.

I enjoy watching the two of you, but it is perfectly fine to do audio only. I love the content you provide. I've learned a lot from the Keiser Report. Thank you so much 😊
