Price Crash or Correction?

in #cryptocurrency9 years ago (edited)

Don't get me wrong, I love cryptocurrency - I like considering the advantages and disadvantages of individual coins, the various features, characteristics and functions....but until they are put to a material purpose and shown to be useful, indeed, indispensable, how can I critically evaluate their worth? Sure, some of them are very pretty and their white papers sound amazing, but soft words butter no parsnips: I need to see the product they're launching from their platform.
What about this for a great ICO / blockchain idea - I want an app that tells me the best exchange deal for my crypto in that moment in time. How hard could that be? Crunch the existing variables on all deals available in that millisecond.....I want to know best return with the least fees payable, just by pressing a button. Next, "Select" - and the configuration goes to my preferred bank account or wallet within 3 seconds. I'd call them, "Kerno's" - Currency now...or "Instacrypts".... The situation now is, I pay 3% purchase fee on cryptocurrencies, then another 3% selling fee. And cash deposits via BPay incur a further 2% fee. I'm carrying the risk, and my exchange gets a guaranteed commission, risk-free. I also love the idea of Neo, where the coins are the company shares and the blockchain keeps a record of the purchaser, the date of purchase and how much dividend they are owed, etc. THAT is brilliant.
