TAKING A STAND AGAINST RAPE

It has always been a trend,
A negative one at that!
Have you ever met a legend?
The type you'll embrace for a tale.

Have you ever heard of a state?
The election comes to an end,
You voted the beautiful angel,
That brought your joy to hell.

Have you ever had that friend?
When things were cool and trendy,
Did you slightly get a fall?
Tell me if the hand extended?

In a world so sweet and cool,
And childhood robbed of kids,
Innocence petitions heavenward,
Only time will catch that cheat.

Coz am helpless and feel dejected,
Coz things are falling apart,
Coz my today seems very bleak,
Is that why am all ignored?

Having been raped many times,
My innocence he took with him,
He claimed to be a friend,
How a sweet life turned so sour,

Am alife, Yes!
And there's hope, of course,
if that's true,
Pat me up from my sleep.

Stand up one,
Stand up all,
Lets unite for once,
Bringing this evil to a halt.
