Petrol ve gaz şirketleri, blockchain teknolojisinin bu alana girmesine çok sevindi. 2014 yılından beri endüstride yaşanan rekor seviyedeki petrol sıkıntıları, şirketleri düşündürmeye başladı. Blockchain teknolojisi ile yaşanan sıkıntıların azalacağını düşünen şirketler, duruma hemen adapte oldular.

ConsenSys isimli proje geliştiricisi ile Amalto isimli otomasyon şirketi ortak bir girişim çalışmalarına başladı. Etherium tabanlı blockchain teknolojisinin kullanılacağı girişim ile petrol ve gaz endüstrisi tamamen dijital ortama taşınacak. Bu dijital süreç, siparişten başlayıp ödeme sürecine kadar sürecek. Bu sayede üretim ve gelir artışı sağlanacak.

Ortak girişimin ismi ise Ondiflo olacak. Ondiflo, petrol ve gaz endüstrisinin kalbi olan Houstan’da yer alacak.

15 Şubat tarihinde yapılacak toplantı ile Ondiflo’nun ne zaman yürürlüğe gireceği kararlaştırılacak.
