RE: Cryptocurrencies will NOT last very long; thoughts on blockchain and "AI"

I really enjoyed your perspective although I disagree at the relevance of crypto-currency. Block chains are the future and as currencies are an application on the chains I think they will just become part of whatever it is that we end up getting from the future of block chains. It would be silly not to use them once block chains have been integrated into all other aspects of our life, why not currency? That would be like if after the internet came out we said emailing is cool and its helping to build the future but that wont be what the internet is used for. It isn't exclusively, but it still is and it has also expanded to instant communication and social media, and I think that is along the same lines that will happen with crypto and block chains.

That's a great point. Just like - even though our brains evolved to develop more complex sections which were capable of other things - we maintained all the ancient areas and they still perform necessary functions. Perhaps, then, cryptocurrencies will experience a continued expansion, then later consolidate and minimize their volume over time until they reach some kind of digital homeostasis.
