VICE Token is LIVE, but there will be no Money Shot for Steemians
Yes, you heard right, the VICE coin or VIT is now trading on exchanges and at a discount. The VICE Industry Token raised 26,927 ETH during the ICO which is currently worth around $10M USD.
But here's the sting.
The planned airdrop to Steemians holding Steem as at the time of the fork (Dec) will receive nothing as the Airdrop has been canceled.
Yes, CANCELED.

Therefore, there will be no Money Shot for Steemians now the VICE Industry Token has been launched.
We are not getting an airdrop and the pre-mined tokens will remain with the VICE Coin team.

So it's no wonder the value of the tokens has already dropped 30% as reported by the @furious-one. Although I don't share his enthusiasm to buy at this discounted price.
For those late to the party, the initial story floating around was, VICE was going to use a Smart Media Token, then that changed to a fork with a Good-Will airdrop for Steemians holding STEEM at the time of the fork.
But it appears this story has changed yet again, and now we get nothing.
It looks like we have been royally screwed over this time.
But easy cum easy go.
Thats not 100% correct. The tokens that were meant to be airdropped to Steem holders are being distributed as a bonus to supporters of the ICO. It has been announced as a 50% bonus to be paid June 28 I beleive.
The coin price dropping after ICO is nothing new, most do this after being released to the market as many people want their cash back or go for very quick pumps. With everything in the crypto-world going down the dunny in terms of price, I'm not too bothered by this. Once the main site opens in a few weeks, we should start to see the price creep up.
Just look at the trading volume of the token. Less than 4K USD in 24 hours. RIP VICE!

Yep, VICE already has some competition coming and I forgot to clarify the canceled airdrop appears to have cost us 400,000,000 VICE Tokens as they didn't update the document completely.
