Coinbase was briefly the #1 App in the entire App Store!
Curious just how wild this crypto mania has gotten?

Briefly yesterday amid all the excitement, Coinbase was the number one App in the App Store.
Ahead of the likes of YouTube, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and Gmail!
I have never seen a currency exchange, heck any kind of exchange, get anywhere near that level before.
That should give you some insight as to what kind of market we are in right now, I mean, if you didn't already know. :)
Perhaps someday soon we will be talking about a Steemit app being up there...

Is this a good thing or a bad thing? A sign that the crypto "bubble" is about to pop? It seems everyone is buying crypto to get rich quick.
Not really sure. I think we will have many bubbles within the bigger bubble that pop and re-inflate along the way.
So we're in a perpetual bubble that will never end? Won't the bigger bubble have to pop at some point?
I guess with all the fiat from the global QE that has been going on since 2008, it shouldn't surprise anyone if bitcoin goes to $100k.
And to never miss any notification about all these exciting things written about crypto on Steemit, the app what everyone talks about soon, can easily be our Steemify notification app...who knows!
I've been seeing more and more friends discuss crypto on FB, which is cool, although there is still a lot of misinformation spreading around. More friends are joining Steemit, too, which is really great to see.
That being said, a rising tide raises all ships.
There are currently 3 billion people on the Internet. We've still got a long ways to go, but we're getting there.
Not to mention, the number of users will double by 2021

Coinbase only has BTC, LTC and ETH correct? So kinda makes you wonder whether there's more money going into bitcoin, or more money going into altcoins you'd see traded on Bittrex or Poloniex?
Yes but it has to get into those exchanges somehow... coinbase is one of the few that offers fiat on/off ramps in the US.
What is the best wallet/platform for trading crypto/altcurrencies?
I want the most choices but also a trusted platform.
If nothing else, at least facebook is on the decline, haha

Coinbase getting number 1 is great for all curent bitcoin holders!!
We do believe in steem getting way high.
If we endure hard time, it is payoff for steemians that keep on HODLing.
