Singapore & Japan Airlines On The Blockchain & Cryptocurrency
While China is banning cryptocurrency trading platforms and initial coin offerings (ICOs), meanwhile in the neighboring countries of Singapore & Japan Airlines are looking to bring Blockchain to the fore in overhauling its airline capabilities this year.
Singapore Airlines will launch "The World's First Blockchain-Based Airline Loyalty Digital Wallet" through it's "KrisFlyer frequent-flyer programme" . It will help to unlock the value of KrisFlyer miles to enable everyday spending at retail part and expected to be rolled out in about six months.

The Japanese low-budget airline, "Peach Aviation" confirmed that they will eventually accept BTC payments (once markets calm down, denying rumors that the plan was abandoned :D) .
Just incase you missed it, the airline initially announced last year May 2017 that their customers would be able to use Bitcoin as a mode of payment by the end of the year but the plan was posponed until March this year.
