Why investing in cryptocurrency is more profitable than mining cryptocurrency

If you only have $100 or $1000 dollars to invest in cryptocurrency, is it better to buy and hold or buy mining equipment?

Long story short I make the argument in this video that buying and holding crypto is WAY more profitable than mining cryptocurrency.

First the average american doesn't have $500 in their saving account.
