Ethereum scaling issues / SegWit2x / Bitcoin to $5000 / Media bullish hype
The biggest issue holding BTC back was the scaling issue. Now that SegWit looks to solve that issue how high will BTC go?
Ethereum's bad day
Ethereum's flash crash cost investors a lot of money, which could result in a loss of confidence.
Status ICO had it's complaints as many couldn't participate due a clogged Ethereum network.
Every time their is a prominent ICO, Ethereum experiences problems.

SEGWIT2X
Segwit will soon be enabled on bitcoin. Which would allow for faster transaction times and lower fees.
Part of the New York agreement is that a 2MB hard fork will be enabled within 6 months of segwit. While almost everyone wants SegWit on BTC the community is still divided on the block size debate, which will lead into another contentious for a later date.
MEDIA HYPE
With SegWit almost a certainty I noticed many publication putting out bullish hype articles in favor of BTC. The Moon talk ranges from $5000 to 1 Million.
The biggest issue holding BTC back was the scaling issue. Now that SegWit looks to solve that issue how high will BTC go? If and when smart contracts are added to BTC through RSK. What will keep the price of BTC from skyrocketing?
The biggest use case for ETH is smart contracts. The biggest use case for LTC is Segwit. Now that BTC is on moving forward, why would people hold ETH or LTC?
Short term, BTC reaches All TIME HIGHS.
Long Term, FUD can happen on the contentious of the 2 MB hard fork.

No stopping BTC. It is the mother of all crypto afterall.
What about the possible proof of stake implementation to etherium ?
It still depends on how ETH will handle massive transactions on the the blockchain.
If BTC gets RSK smart contracts, ETH will lose it competitive advantage.
Ethereum Classic is also waiting for ETH to experience more problems so they can say "Hey look at me, I'm the original and don't have the problems ETH is having try us."
