Best Cryptocurrencies of 2017
The year hasn’t finished yet, but it's always good to look back to find which currencies had the most price increase. I would like to share with you some details about the methodology that helped me to find those gold pieces.
Sometimes it’s hard to find information about recent subjects, especially when we’re talking about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It’s a pain for me, because as an adept of long-term investments, I mainly seek for monthly and annual statistics. So, considering this, I’ll leave below some details about the methodology and a spreadsheet with the values.
Methodology:
- Only the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap of December (Until day 11) were considered
- The final percent change was based at the price difference between the earliest and the last month of our time frame
- Not all coins has data of every month, it probably happened because they left the top 100 table of that month

I am interested in IOTA, LISK, and ADA. Ripple has a lot going for them but with so much of its Coin available more banks need to sign on to use it.
