There is alot of sources of information about cryptocurrency on the internet, there is the normal news websites like Cointelegraph and Coindesk that covers the most general news and development in overall market and you the more direct and specific info on communityies like reddit.
In my opinion Twitter is the best covering all the types of information, you have a live feed of tweets from the official coins, news websites and one of the most important information from people with alot of knowledge and very influencial in the crypto community/market
Is also a good place to check the current market santiment and you can connect with alot of people in the field but is important to follow the right persons and don't get influenced my people pushing their agenda only, remember that everyone has his opinion and will talk about it, is very important you DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH!.
