People don't yet realize that instead of wasting billions of dollars worth of electricity securing a chain Bitshares recaptures all of the value and uses it for network maintenance and upgrades. Bitshares is in it's infancy and already is creating $80k per month in profit, which is being used to hire developers to improve and maintain. This is why Bitshares will become one of the top cryptos in the world - it is the only crypto able to pay for it's own upkeep and upgrading.
