My Friend your last comments seems a little out of place.
For the following reasons:

First your are under the illusion that the internet is somehow free and open.

It is not now nor has it ever been so.

Second you seem to think that somehow people rise to the top of searches and platforms based on their content and efforts.

This has never been true. It is not even true here on Steemit as it requires the whales to help you. Who are the whales? Why do they help some and not all and why do they choose to crush others.

Third you think the internet somehow exist to promote freedom.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

From its conception it has been called the web by those who developed it. Most people believe this is because of the way people are connected to it.

Today you will get the truth.

It is called the web because a giant spider has set at the top of it since its conception. It is designed to catch all new Ideas and devour them. Catch all new talent and coopt it. Identify, Crush, Capture and destroy all those who do not serve it.
Those at the top are there by design not through their own efforts alone.
No not even Alex Jones.

If Alex Jones rose to the top it is because it was done by the spider.
If he falls to the bottom it is the spider as with all, since mass communications began.
All traffic has been monitored from its conception.

Google, Facebook , Twitter and all their predecessors all creations of the spider and its deception is complete and you my friend are caught in its web free you mind nothing is as it seems.

It has fooled all men.
