Expensive withdraw fees on Bittrex, why?
Hey guys,
Today I'm really surprised about the crazy withdraw fees there are on Bittrex for few of the currencies I hold.
This post is not to do bad communication regarding Bittrex, it is for me the best platform to trade at the best accurate price.
But sometimes there are things I don't understand like those withdraw fees.
I know there is a network fee but no that much ...
- New Economy Movement / XEM
Withdraw fee = 15 XEM
1 XEM = 0.24$ so fees = 3.60$ ... WTF ??
- Ripple / XRP
Withdraw fee = 5 XRP
1 XRP = 0.18$ so fees = 0.90$
Notes : 2 weeks ago I withdraw about 200 Ripples for nearly 0 fees with Bittrex. On my Ripple wallet the network fee is around 0.1% so ... WTF ??
So if any of you have any idea of what's going on let me know please.

That's pretty steep. They should give you an option in which you pay a lower fee, but the transaction takes longer.

Well as you can see on the screenshot, there is no such option. Unfortunately the tax fee is in grey colour means I can't change it.
Are you trading on Bittrex as well? If yes, did you ever experiment something like that?

Bittrex is a scam , have a look at all the complaints .
Do they have a web bot trading your coins ?
Robot Support ?
Look at the owners .
Stay away from Bittrex .

There is something wrong
That's getting crazy. The problem is the lack of credible exchanges. I trust Bittrex and that is my choice for exchanging alts. I just make sure to only make larger sized exchanges to limit my transaction fees. Hopefully newer and cheaper exchanges will open soon.
Somebody told me it is because they are on Omni protocol which taking a BTC fee to send fast transactions. I don't want fast transaction as I'm not in the rush so I should be able to reduce the fees.
I like Bittrex too but I lost a bit of confidence to them with this issue.
So far, Ripple, XEM, Bitshares and SAFEX are really expensive to withdraw
No answer from the support after one week
Check out what they did to me .
Hackers sold my coins then transferred all my bitcoin into the hackers account and Bittrex took all the fees .
Bittrex support is a joke and Bittrex a scam withdraw all your coins and stay away .

The fees are high so you don't withdraw because they probably have a web bot trading devise .
if I were you I would get out of Bittrex they are a scam .
Check the amounts of your coins hourly and you will see fluctuations .
There are not scam buddy, it's a great platform but it is true they take a good part of the cake

Bittrex is a scam because Bittrex profited in fees from my stolen money and gave me nothing but Bullshit lies.
What ever way you look at it stealing is a scam !!!

right now dash withdrawal fee is 0.05dash, dash ~160usd. so 8usd per withdrawal lol
