During my short time here so far I've had feelings of nostalgia, going back to the mid 90's feeling of how big the internet was and could be. I've also felt like I've become part of something big, on the grass-roots ground floor of something big. Not only that but something that will revolutionize the internet...again!

Stories like this help to cement that felling. The sense of nostalgia and optimism can be a dangerous place where your wallet is concerned and this aided in that knowledge.

“We want people to feel free to share and connect on Facebook, as well as to feel safe, so we don’t allow people to publish the personal information of others without their consent,” the spokeswoman, Charlene Chian, said. She declined to say who had complained.

This coming from Facebook in regards to a Mr. Guo Wengui (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guo_Wengui ), a man who's boisterously voiced his opinion against corruption in the Chinese government and private sectors.

Why is this a big deal?

While several exchanges have announced that they will close by the end of this month, traders have now moved to buy and sell bitcoin directly with each other on peer-to-peer marketplaces and messenger apps. Industry insiders say some overseas-based initial coin offerings (ICOs) are still being marketed.

China believes in a stable (predictable) economy. ICO's are not that, at all, but a token (pun hehe) of freedom and free markets.

Drink it in, you're on the right path!

Back in those days Facebook was still Facebook. Now it has evolved to something of a faceless means of self gratification. It shows the sheer number of people going through a social depression.

From a human aspect, sure. The emotional turmoil in dealing with the inward and outward self is exacerbated by that site.

The economical implications crypto could have on FB, Twitter and Reddit could be disastrous for their shareholders. Something akin to Steemit and SMT is an obvious choice to where people will wish to partake in online discussions.

I believe we are watching the decline of the established social media like Facebook. It's difficult to imagine now, but in a few years Facebook is going to be remembered like MySpace. @ironshield

Three cheers in hoping you are correct!
