Tutorial about how to auto-manage your Bittrex portfolio using API key

If you are a Bittrex trader, you may have a need for recording the portfolio about your transactions and track your profit or assets change. This article is about how to use the API key of Bittrex to auto manage your portfolio.

What is an API key?

The API Key is for auto trading or auto tracking the data from your Bittrex account. With the api, you don’t need to give your account name and password to others to keep your assets safe.

How to generate the API key?

1 Log in to Bittrex (http://www.bittrex.com) , click settings in the right top corner, and then click API Keys

2.Click “Add New Key”, and then turn on “Read info”.

3.Authenticate your identity with Google Authenticator(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.authenticator2). Use the 2-step certification (2FA), and then click “Update Keys”.

After updating, Your API Key and Secret Key will be shown on the website.

How to use the API Key?
