1- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has issued a warning on cryptocurrency exchanges. The SEC says that many exchanges are currently unregulated and can do whatever they want with your money. As an investor, you should be extremely careful. As a company running an exchange, you should expect a crackdown soon.
2 - Japanese regulators on Thursday issued punishment notices to several cryptocurrency exchanges and forced others to halt business, to shore up consumer protection after the $530 million theft of digital money from Tokyo-based bitcoin exchange Coincheck.
3 - Following the perpetration of various cryptocurrency-related scams on its platform, social media website Twitter is taking steps to halt and prevent the spread of misleading and potentially harmful misinformation.
4 - London Crypto Currency Exchange (LCCX) offers an innovative crypto exchange platform model that seeks to address notable weaknesses in the existing model. With its unique approach, the platform will make trading in digital currencies more accessible and reduce the risk level associated with the trade.
5 - Two social network platforms located in Russia have shared that they will now be accepting cryptocurrency payments. Vkontakte (In Contact), which is a popular social media site for people who speak Russian as their primary language and Odnoklassniki (Classmates), which has a large base of users in former Soviet states, will begin taking Bitcoin payments from advertisers. These platforms also plan to begin paying developers and partners in digital money.
