1- Arizona House of Reps passed Senate Bill 1091, a tax bill that would permit Arizonans to pay their taxes using digital currencies. However, following the recent vote, this idea has been blocked with amendments.
2 - The President of Venezuela, Nicholas Maduro announced the creation of a digital cryptocurrency bank for the youth and students, which will begin its activities with 20 million Petros, a national cryptocurrency.
3 - The government of South Korea is on a verge to legalise Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) after it banned them in 2017. According to media reports, the coalition of lawmakers are looking to get a consensus in the National Assembly to pass the bill making ICOs completely legal in the country but with some conditions.
4 - Caspian, a full-stack crypto trading and risk management platform for professional investors today announced it will connect with Gemini, the U.S. licensed digital asset exchange. The goal of the strategic partnership is to connect institutional investors and active traders with multiple exchanges from a single interface.
5 - TrafficJunky, an online advertising network, which claims to be serving more than 4 billion daily impressions, has highlighted it will start accepting Verge cryptocurrency as a payment option starting from Monday, May 7th, 2018.
