In the 21st century social media has been the game changing phenomenon within communication. This has been enabled by the number of internet users having grown from its initial moderate low millions to more recently low billions. Internet users are connected on many platforms, where they share their thoughts, feelings and any digital media available on the world-wide-web. Social media has become a global communication space with over two billion users worldwide, and in the United States alone, billions of Dollars are spent on social media marketing. Through advertising revenue, selling products or services, social media has proven to be one of the hottest marketplaces and tools for digital startups.

While social media platforms are changing how we communicate, It appears as though the medium hasn’t changed a great deal over the years. Integrating blockchain with social media is a game changing global phenomenon and UHIVE is one of the start-ups introducing centralized/decentralized hybrid social medial platform that enhances how security in social medial is handled. UHIVE Has introduced two worlds the civilized world and the grey world.

THE CIVILIZED WORLD

THE GRAY WORLD

The Gray World, Platform users are anonymous where the user information and activities are obscure. The Grey World is an exciting universe, which offers users the opportunity to be whoever they would like to be. Here, users are free to try new things and be completely uninhibited by this untraceable space.

SOCIAL MEDIA EVOLUTION

As a result of the strong human desire to connect, social networking websites have encouraged online behavior where security and privacy are not always the first priority, the key cause for concern is the late realization of the open nature of the web and thus how much personal information has been left exposed to any passing stranger. The bottom line is that the social networking site everyone is using is a third party and you need to be happy that you would trust that third party with your personal information.

Thanks to UHIVE, Users can now be part of a social media network that offers two worlds with different sets of rules; in the Civilized World, users operate within a centralized space where individual user profiles, personal info, interests and so on, can all be shared openly. In the Grey World, everyone is entirely anonymous, and freedom of thought and expression are free to run wild in anonymous groups, and most interestingly, users in the grey world will stumble upon new areas by pure chance offering an element of surprise.
