2018 Will there be new crypto were not being told of yet ?

So for the past few months I have read multiple articles, opinions and hopes people have for crypto.

I have also spoken to a few people who are not in the same country as me that there is up and coming coins that are still yet to be realease.

What he also explained to me is that for what he know so far that they are try to create and contain new currencies within there government to have max profits. Any thoughts ??
