This is true. But I ask you to apply that view to Bitcoin as well. Bitcoin has been going up forever, where alt-coins have not. Steem, at least in my eyes, is worth more (in Bitcoin) one month from now then Bitcoin in Steem. Steem is bouncing off all time lows (along with other alts)...Bitcoin however has never seen this height and for the first time it is really testing its ability to scale. There is no telling what will happen but what usually people dont expect to happen will happen.
Oh yes, my comment was targeted more at all of crypto in general. You make a good point about bitcoin going up longer than the others. I think that one is due for a tumble as well. It seems that usually when mainstreet and wallstreet start talking about something, it is getting near a trend change...
Steem in particular I think is different than the others. The fast transaction times, the zero cost transactions, and the social media site attached to it all give it a huge leg up on the competition. My only hope is that we don't squander these first mover advantages we currently are enjoying by taking too long!
