This will be a series of posts highlighting my coin reviews. We'll see if I can get into a cadence of posting once a week but no promises. The first coin I'll be reviewing is Elixer (ELIX). I'll be looking at 8 different criteria; the top section is a quick summary followed by a closer look below.

1. Unique Technology (technology is unique or has a competitive advantage)
   • Elixer allows its users to receive or give loans or crowdfund projects. Lenders receive rewards for lending and borrowers receive rewards for paying back on time. Their competitors include SALT and LEND.
2. Professionalism (interactions with the community and media are professional)
   • Elixer's press releases and community interactions have been very professional and consistent
3. Website (website is well designed, easy to navigate, and content isn't full of typos)
   • Elixer's website is very easy to navigate and very well designed.
4. White Paper (white paper is complete, succinct, and clear goals/roadmap)
   • Elixer's white paper has a great summary of the technology in development and a detailed roadmap.
5. Community (strong community who's positive about the coin's future)
   • Elixer updates via Twitter and other social media at least once per week and has an active Reddit community with 2,671 subscribers.
6. Market Cap (ratio between coin supply and price shows there's ample room for growth)
   • Elixer currently sits with a market cap of ~ $27 million. The final supply is still to be determined, but is currently estimated to be ~112 million coins. It currently sits at Rank 343 on CoinMarketCap so has plenty of room to grow.
7. Exchanges (coin is accessible on reliable exchanges)
   • Elixer is available on Kucoin, CoinExchange, EtherDelta, and IDEX.
8. Product Available (the product is available for users)
   • Not yet. The software prototype is currently being tested with a beta version scheduled for release in Q2 2018.

Overall, I think Elixer has a very promising future. Their beta release in Q2 2018 will be a key milestone for them as well as their continued communication updates over the next few months.
