How To: Peso To Steem SBD

Cloudsourcing: Fellow Steemians, I’m a 25 day old newbie and I’ve tried searching but were unable to get clear answers. I’m planning to convert some of my earnings and invest it here. That will be from Philippine Peso to Steem SBD. Anyone who’s awesome enough to point me in the right direction? I would greatly appreciate it.

A few steps. Buy Bitcoin in Philippines https://coins.ph/buy-bitcoin/ or http://mymark.mx/LocalBitcoins. Transfer BTC to an exchange where you can sell BTC for STEEM. Bittrex or http://mymark.mx/Binance both work. Buy STEEM there and transfer to Steemit account. Costs will be spreads on the trades and the fee to move BTC to an exchange. Check with the exchanges what they will charge for the Steem transfer. You may need to be verify identity on exchanges to be allowed to transfer

Thanks for the steps @carrinm. Yup, this won't be easy. I have a coins.ph account already. Wow! next steps will be the challenging ones... Hope everything goes well at the end. Again, thanks for the info @carrinm.
