There is some Ico this year create profitable coin?
Dear Steemitians
we have the suspect that 2018 Ico's are all going bad, even who was giving the best promises.
For example we invested in Savedroid, which was a very promising Ico and they got a lot of money from investor, but now the SVD value is almost 10 times less than sell price.
The same happen to Tradingene, very promising Ico based on serious people and professionals team, but they lost 5 times value from sell price.
We think that ICO can have success if BTC value will rise again the 10K usd, because in this bear market where total value of crypto is 53% just for Bitcoin, all investors are looking on Icos with dark eyes.
Do you know some Ico who made a profitable coin during this year?

This is not a surprise at all. 2017 was the year of the ICO bubble, with dozens of useless tokens being launched. The ICO profits were hold in cryptocurrencies, mainly Bitcoin and Ethereum, increasing the price of this coins and promoting the launch of more ICO in a crazy loop of speculation.
I do not think we will see this happen again because the confidence is broken. Anyway, the chance of a new bubble increases the more the prices of Bitcoin and specially Ethereum rise.
I do not trust ICO in general, but some of them may finally success. I think some videogame with economy based in cryptocurrencies may be a big success, as long as it focus on being fun and not just in collecting money by gambling. For example https://hashrush.com/ looks very cool

dont think there are any good icos this year. The ico bubble of 2017 was just crazy... Lots of overhyped projects with little substance that could only stay alive in the bull run.
Now crypto has come back to sanity and icos are not looking good. In 2017 it was enough to put some buzzowrds together but now you actually need to deliver and the technology is not really ready for that yet.
Even if we see an end of 2018 bull, i think icos need a bit longer time before they can come back.

More will fail then be successful due to the nature of how many ICO there are. That is the risk with investing in ICO ... if you do your research and jump on a good one then it can be very profitable. If you jump on a bad one then your cash is dust. Its a gamble like everything crypto related.
Dear my friend, yes there are too many fake Ico and they deserve to be crashed, but some was very promising like Savedroid, they are german and they got approval from german goverment to start their project, and what now? Market price sell 0.01 euro and now value 0.001 euro!

Dear my friend, Ico is acronism of Initial Coin Offer, this means they start to sell their coins with a price they think will increase after put the coins in the market, but most of the time this price is going down instead of increase and who invested loose their money, so thats why i have some doubt about this system...

Dear my friend, thank you for comment, yes Telegram Ico will be the 2018 best Ico for sure, but i think they are worry too about this market cap, so they are still in pre-ico stage. Regarding Avinoc i do not see them in market right now, may be they are typical shit coins, be aware...

The truth is difficult to find a profitable one. I hope that the ICO market will soon be safe and thus increase investments.
Dear my friend, unfortunately you are right, in this time we are suffering of bubble in the end of 2017 and now all investors have no more believe in this market if BTC will not start to rise again to 10,000 USD, this i think is the right average value to give again power to this market
