The gamers' paradise - Bountie

This article is a review of a blockchain opportunity in the gaming industry and I'm not telling you to invest in this project. What I'm telling you, however, is to visit their website and whitepaper and go through them with a fine-tooth comb. Be a detective and analyze everything about the project and formulate your own opinions and decide for yourself whether you want to support the project or not.
Gaming Industry
Are you a gamer? Do you live in Asia? If that's the case, then this project will certainly excite you. Today I will be talking about a project that will revolutionize the gaming industry. I am not a gamer myself but when I came across Bountie, it doesn't seem like a bad idea to join the industry. The one reason I am not a gamer is that it is addictive and up until now I found it to be a waste of valuable time (my opinion). If you love gaming please do not be offended by my statement. I know there are professional gamers out there who make a living out of gaming, but for most people gaming is just a way to have fun. Most people don't play games to make money, mostly because there aren't that many ways to make money through playing games.
I read an article that spoke about 7 ways to make money through gaming and the only real money is in professional gaming and to get into that you need to be the best of the best. That means you also have to have the best equipment which can be very costly.
Some Stats
The gaming industry is a multibillion-dollar industry. There are over 2.2 billion gamers worldwide and the Asian Pacific makes up to 47% of that number owing to large populations in that region. China is said to generate about 25% of gaming revenue in the world. Bountie saw an opportunity and wants to capture that market by offering an ecosystem that consists of gamers, partners and bountie itself. These partners include gaming hardware manufacturers and game developers.
So what is Bountie?
Bountie is a platform for gamers in Asia to make a living while playing their favorite
games.
Yeah, I know, it sucks that they have to exclude the rest of the world. Most people will feel left out and will probably not buy into the project because of the fact that it aims to service the Asian community only. I hope they will consider expanding globally at some point in time. The following are the problems that Bountie wants to address:
- Limited income streams for gamers
As I have mentioned, gamers have very limited ways they can make money doing what they love. - Limited Replay value
Most gamers will soon get tired of playing a game once they complete it and this makes the lifespan of a game very short. - Winner takes all

AI and automation is reducing the number of jobs available and unemployment is on the rise - No gamer Search Engine
Professional bodies find it difficult to find talent due to the lack of a centralized place with accurate gamer profiles. - Not enough competitions
Competitions in esports are very limited and do not make it easy for non-professionals to make it into the gaming world.
The Solutions:
- Great Gamer Profiling and Matchmaking
Bountie will make it easy for gamers to create profiles and store game statistics in a blockchain and this will make it easy for them to find gamers of the same level to play with. - New way to earn a living
The project will help aleviate the unemployment problem by offering a platform that allows gamers to earn while doing what they love. Gamers will earn by entering into tournaments as well as through content creation. - Lots of tournaments and challenges
Bountie will create an environment where there is no shortage of tournaments for gamers to enter. There will be weekly tournaments where gamers will win Bountie coins and this will make them keep coming back for more. Games will have longer life spans in the process. - Advanced Blockchain technology
Bountie aims to “tokenise” digital currency. By doing this, Bountie Coins will be protected by an
unhackable system and add more layers of security, especially when real world money is involved.
I admit, I don't really understand the last solution hence I just quoted what they say on their whitepaper.I don't know what they mean by "tokenising digital currency" and it is not clear how they will make their system "unhackable". Bountie team, if you are reading this, please clarify that point a little bit.
The platform will be able to create it's own tournament and leaderboard system and this means gamers can play any game that has competition and multiplayer modes. The currency that will be used in the platform is the Bountie Coin, a brand new cryptocurrency for the bountie ecosystem. Gamers will be able to purchase gaming hardware as well as to buy into tournaments using the Bountie coins. There will be a search engine that will be used by gamers to find potential team mates or opponents, will also be used by professional bodies seeking gaming talent for professional gaming.
On the bigger scale, Bountie aims to build gaming stadiums in all major cities where bountie will be operating. At these stadiums, gamers will be able to meetup with new team mates and it will be a hangout hub for gamers. At these stadiums they will have helpdesks to help the gamers understand the ecosystem better. Bountie will hold offline tournaments at these hubs and will also be inviting sport organizations and brands to scout for talent.
One of the things they promise to do is to eliminate cheating. Winner will have their funds in pending for a week while investigations are being done to see if the win was a fair win. (I personally think they should only implement this if there is suspicion of foulplay because if it is used for every case, it could cause frustrations if winners have to wait that long everytime to get their winnings.)
If they can really pull this off, I promise you this will be a big project in the near future. The gaming industry is about to change and you can be part of the change. They have a good team of developers, marketers and advisors and if you think they have what it takes to make this into a reality then you can support the project by getting yourself some Bountie coins. Since these tokens have a use case, they will have value and all the unsold tokens will be burned after the crowdsale. It's best to get them now while they are still very cheap because the total supply will not allow the value to be anything huge. I could be wrong. This is crypto. Do your own due diligence and decide for yourself.
