Can Õpet Foundation Change Education for the Better?
One of the biggest issues with the current education system is the huge cost involved. Many families struggle to put their children through the education they deserve or cannot afford to pay for extra private tuition due to low income. Õpet are looking to change this situation and offer each and every student the education they deserve.
“How?” I hear you ask! Well, with the introduction of the Artificial Intelligence Chatbot (AI Chatbot), their aim is to reduce the problem of cost and increase the balance in education. Can a teacher pay equal amounts of attention to a class of 30 pupils? Despite their best efforts, I believe that even the best teachers struggle with this challenge.
So, how does it work? The AI Chatbot is an interactive App which basically adapts to the student’s specific needs. One of the most important factors is that it is always available, no matter what the day or time may be and that it doesn’t carry the cost of private tutoring.
The Chatbot is already being trialled successfully in India and with sufficient investments (softcap was reached by private investors alone), will hopefully be as successful worldwide by early next year.
