Why Miners Volunteer for BITCOIN PRIVATE (BTCP) ?

As the BTCP snapshot date is coming closer, more miners have started contributing their hash power to the Bitcoin Private Volunteer Mining Program. The volunteer mining program, offers increased benefits as compared to other mining programs. For all the mining power contributed to BTCP mining pool you get that much percentage from 62,500 BTCP. 

Essentially, if you end up mining 1% of the total ZCL contributed (upto 50,000), you would get 625 BTCP, no matter how much ZCL the entire pool donated. If you mined 10%, you would get 6250 BTCP, and so on.

Here’s the formula to calculate the BTCP earned-

BTCP Earned = ZCL you mined for Fund x 62,500/(Total ZCL donated by pool)

Well, this is just about the profits and how much BTCP you can make and that is essential. However, this is only the surface, it gets much deeper. Thanks to the AWSOME BITCOIN PRIVATE COMMUNITIY, I was able to interview some of the voluntary miners to understand their real motivation to join and contribute to the BTCP mining program. And what I learned from them really showed the other side of so wrongly perceived cryptocurrency community. It showed the efforts, the hard work and the values of real people behind contributing to the development and success of the project. You want to know what I learned from them, find out yourself-

ME :   Apart from earning BTCP, why did you join the program?  

MINERS:    

Proven technology backed by an experienced team make for a quality cryptocurrency that stands out in an ever-increasing field of superfluous cryptocurrencies. 

It is Bitcoin- for those that care about their privacy

  Privacy in the crypto space! It is the future and when I saw ZCL was going to fork I started looking into the project. And here I am :)

I think it has a great potential, whatever I can do to help it succeed, I will do. I was mining ZCL by my own and when the BTCP volunteer mining came out I immediately started to help. I think that if we can help BTCP to grow, we should do it. It will benefit all of us.  

  The privacy is in today’s world is highly discussed among the public at large. Still the people in authority exploit it the most for their own benefit and to be in control. And that’s why project like Bitcoin Private must be supported and people should give serious thought to protecting their privacy.

  These guys are very much excited for the BTCP release. They say,

I am truly ready for this to happen I have never seen something like this before. The community is amazing , it is really awesome to see how it works and if it is something I would like to be a part of  again.

  They told me that it was very easy to start mining on the pool.   

  Most miners are plug and play when it comes to the address the pool and the port so I would say pretty easy. 

  They had great support from the people working around the clock, across countries. The community is very active in helping each other out.   

ME :   What would you like to say to the other miners?  

MINERS:

  If you were looking to accumulate BTCP through mining ZCL, then this pool is a win-win situation for everybody: accumulate more BTCP for your hashing power, and support the success of BTCP’s launch.  

  With the newly implemented PPLNT payout system I feel a lot better mining with the pool through the snapshot date than I did even just a couple of days ago.

  As far as the project goes I just want to support a successful fork.   

 This is something that they are doing for us because they believe in the community behind program. 

  By interacting with these miners, one thing I can say for sure. This project is more than just a cryptocurrency.
