Coinsecure has started the process of refunding

On 9 April 2018, Coinsecure reported that 438.318 bitcoins worth around Rs 19 crore had been stolen from its wallet. More than 11,000 customers are affected by this biggest cryptocurrency theft in India. But The company said it will start returning monies to the affected parties.

Now, the refunding process has been started Officially from 25 June 2018. The amount will be paid to the customers in Indian Rupees, ex gratia, for the loss of their Bitcoins. But, Users need to sign an Agreement and deliver to the Coinsecure's office along with the documents mentioned in the Agreement. But keep in mind, Users has to submit the duly signed Agreement and the required documents to the office on or before 30th of the month.

If you are a Coinsecure user, then you got the same official e-mail from the Coinsecure. This message is also posted on the Homepage of the Coinsecure official website.

How to get Agreement Paper :

  • Got CoinSecure official Site: https://coinsecure.in
  • Scroll down and Click on https://claims.coinsecure.in Button.
  • Now Login into your account.
  • After Login scroll down and click on "View and print or save Claims Agreement" button to download the Agreement Paper.

Document Requirement:

  • Copy of Adhaar Card front and back scan for photo ID + address proof.
  • Copy of PAN Card of the Customer.
  • Cancelled Cheque of The Bank Account in which compensation will be credited.
  • Copy of the last filed Income Tax Returns (Form V)

Note: The last date for submitting claims to the Coinsucure office along with all appropriate documents is June 30, 2018.
