Russia Planning To Launch It's Own Cryptocurrency.

Russia has long been talking about creating its own cryptocurrency, and now it looks like the country has started working on it. Russian news outlets are reporting that the Russian Communications Minister has confirmed plans to launch a state-run digital currency.

However, people won't be able to mine the new currency, instead it will be distributed just as regular currency is distributed. Citizens will also be able to exchange their digital currency for conventional currency; however, they will be required to present proof of origin for the money or else the country will charge a 13% tax.
