INTRODUCTION

Over the years, since the advent of the Internet, several structures has been set in place to ensure that effective and smooth running of the internet is achieved.
Some of these structures have overtime turned to become regulatory bodies dictating things happening all over the internet.

THE PROBLEMS

1. DATA CENTERS

The internet is becoming increasingly a place where only those with large means and can set up a data center would enjoy fast and secure service provision and have access to unlimited facilities.

ISP companies have been growing 8.8% on average from 2012 to 2017. Demand for bandwidth is not expected to slow down

2. MOBILE DEVICES

With the increase in number of mobile devices and internet accessing accessories, the issue of decreased bandwidth is rubbing us in the face as the available ISPs is not equipped enough to handle the influx of data and efficient sharing of
bandwidth amongst all its users.

3. RESIDENTIAL IPs

The issue of poor internet access in developing countries around the world has been a big challenge as companies exploit this to create facilities which are aimed at extorting the citizenry of their finances in return for internet access that is not up to the standards advertized.

THE SOLUTION – BandZ

BandZ is a project targeted at creating a global extranet. The target is to provide a secure and global extranet powered by a decentralized blockchain and having several products and uses to data centers, mobile devices and internet service providers.

BandZ Model

BandZ Model makes use of 3 nodes

1. Providers:

The Provider node is used to launch the BandZ bandwidth to the entire world, creating seamless private-enterprise bandwidths and making it accessible to everyone around the globe.

2. Consumers :

The consumers node are for users, this entails accepting data traffic from gateways and sending it to the provider nodes which in turn widens the bandwidth reach to accommodate more data entries.

3. Gateways:

The Gateway node provides resolution services to providers and consumers; this node is powered by incentives received by the gateway providers.

BandZ Multi-blockchain integration

BandZ is implementing four different blockchain solutions,

• HyperLedger
• Aeternity
The implementation of these blockchains will ensure fast, secure , scalable, and available internet services to everyone around the world utilizing a public decentralized blockchain technology.

Benefits of Decentralized Internet

1. FASTER CONNECTIVITY:
   BandZ Having a decentralized internet would indicate that every device that connects to the network would work as a node of the network, thereby making it possible for seamless connectivity across the world, even in areas of low internet infrastructures.
2. MICRO TRANSACTIONS:
   Due to the inefficiencies of the internet services available, ISPs charge exorbitantly to grant internet access, with a decentralized internet being provided by BandZ, cost of accessing would be minimal and less time consuming, transactions would be carried out at optimal time and at a very reduced cost.
3. ENSURED PRIVACY:

With End-To-End Encryption, which utilizes encryption algorithm to ensure that only the sender and receiver has access to the information being shared using the BandZ protocol, unlike in centralized systems where information is at the mercies of the ISPs, hackers, crackers, etc, privacy of all users are ensured.

   BandZ utilizes the End-To-End Encryption protocol and The protocol free farming tool, making data transfer occur through switches and routes instead of using VPNs which exposes users to potential dangers of data theft and mismanagement. In BandZ’s ideology, data safety is placed in the hands of the users.

WHO BENEFITS FROM EXCHANGE OF BANDWIDTH?

BandZ is creating a marketplace where everyone can benefit from including users (by sharing of bandwidths), (ISPs hosting the nodes and receiving tokens), gateway providers, internet companies, governments, etc
Users join the entire network and earn BandZ tokens for sharing their bandwidths to the network, allowing users to pay for their internet providers using the BandZ software.
One can share his internet service to others and earn BandZ tokens.

IMPACT OF BandZ ON LOCATIONS WITH LACK OF INFRAUSTRUCTURE

The singular ability of BandZ network to connect several devices and initiate nodes having switches and routers from these devices would make it possible for locations with lack of infrastructure to enjoy bandwidth and speed similar or same with those having high network capabilities, this works with the technique of rotation of proxies, where each user is assigned a different IP address from a list of randomly generated IPs which would simulate that of internet services in high network areas.

MESH NETWORKS AND ITS ADVANTAGES.

MESH NETWORKS

Mesh network can simply be defined as an improvement in internet ranges and accessibility of a group of devices (computers, mobile devices, laptops etc), which is achieved by the inter-connectivity of these devices using WIFI technology.

With BandZ, we want to create nodes for internet devices of all sorts to connect directly, dynamically and non-hierarchically and cooperate with one another to route data from/to clients. This lack of dependency on one node allows for every node to participate in the relay of information. The ability to self-configure enables dynamic distribution of workloads, particularly if a few nodes should fail. This in turn contributes to fault-tolerance and reduced maintenance costs.

ADVANTAGES OF MESH-NETS

The advantages of Mesh-Nets Includes:

1. Unmetered Internet Access:

With Mesh networks, users can enjoy internet access everywhere they are and have ability to access more possibilities in the internet of things.

2. Improved and cheaper data services:

Having non-hierarchical contributions to the network allows users to enjoy non-hierarchical data connections and cheaper data services, unlike those used by ISPs.

HOW BandZ CAN GET RID OF NEEDLESS ROAMING CHARGE

Roaming charges are fees charged by ISPs on subscribers when they move out of the territories from which the service providers operate. These charges are often exorbitant and users have no choice than to oblige. But with BandZ MESH NETWOKS, P2P DATA TRANSFER ,ROTATING PROXIES and P2P BANDWIDTH MARKETPLACE, needless roaming fees would be removed from the internet service industry and users would have the ability to access local internet using the extranet technology, anywhere in the world.

1. Chijamz Inc. is an ISP, and having heard about BandZ, decides to partner with BandZ and share their bandwith with users in BandZ, earning BNZ token in the process.

2. Chijamz is an Online FOREX trainer who travels for an international FOREX convention with his students , during the masterclass,a student (Ifeanyi), shares his local data bandwidth with everyone using BandZ Mesh Network, allowing for fast and non hierarchical connectivity for everyone, having curbed needless roaming charges

3. Chijamz works in a data security center and hears about BandZ End-To-End Encryption and P2P File Transfer system, he now uses BandZ to share data with his subscribers, and enjoys secure file transfer protocols while earning BandZ token in the process.

4. Just as i am writing this article, i have been having internet connectivity challenges, if i had access to BandZ software, i would have connected to the internet using a Mesh-NET from my mother's laptop and my brother's tablet, this would grant me access to faster internet connection and my relatives would earn some BNZ tokens.
