Russian ministry of finance offered to organize cryptocurrency offshores in Russia.

   

Ministry of finance and central bank of our country argued about the future of cryptocurrencies and ministry offered compromise decision of this problem: to organize cryptocurrency offshores in the farthest regions of the state.

This offering is acceptable for The Bank of Russia. 

“Special areas of crypto trading will be founded in Vladivostok or Kaliningrad” 

-said deputy Minister of finances Aleksey Moiseev.

  “We consider the opportunity to realize organized bargaining on islands Russkiy and Oktyabor’skiy. Of course we suppose that it is necessary to legalize exchanges in Russia”

- answered Moiseev. He clarified that this opportunity is able thanks for new Russian law project “About digital financial assets”. Before this law, Ministry suggested to organized trading with help of Moscow stock exchange, however The Bank of Russia was against all crypto transactions because it may influent on Russian rubble. So instead Moscow Stock exchange, cryptocurrency bargaining can be realized in special offshores. Deputy Minister of finances noted that while they interacting with Central Bank, in Russian Federation already take place large number of cryptocurrency transactions:

 “In Moscow several thousands exchangers provide services of cryptocurrency transactions. In fact, it is happening abroad. Our problem is to make this market “whiter” and we are interested in organization crypto exchanging into state.”
