Remme- Security

Friends, I rarely do analysis/review on already trading coins, but this project is worth it. All this is about the Ukrainian project REMME.

The idea behind the REMME project is to completely eliminate passwords from the authentication process. The solution of such problems becomes possible in the era of the widespread introduction of blockchain technologies into our lives. It is thanks to the blockchain that it is possible to achieve unsurpassed protection of data and at the same time it works all decentralized.

The key is the protection of information, the work of a person done over their business or creativity for example. The modern approach necessarily assumes the existence of a single database of data storage, but this is one of the most vulnerable places, it is here that most of the attacks of hackers who want to acquire the personal data of users of a particular resource are directed. Personal data contains both passwords for purses with funds, and for personal information due to which, manipulation of certain people becomes possible.

With the use of blockchain technologies, there is no single data center, so there is no single certification center, so users save their money and become more independent. For companies, this is most relevant, as databases reach large sizes, which means that the costs of protection grow at times.

One more important feature is that REMME is not tied to any specific blockchain system, but it is possible to use it with various blocchains, which significantly expands the number of potential users.

REMME each assigns its own private secret, which is stored only by the user. It is with his help that the necessary certificates are signed, if there is a need for a resource in your data. In this case, there is no long and tedious filling of data and password forms, the system itself will take the necessary data stored on the server after you enter your secret key.

An important feature is that this approach does not prohibit the registration of several accounts on any resource, all you need is to select the profile you need when accessing the resource.

With all the features of REMME, the technologies are perfectly integrated into the IOT system of technology, the so-called Internet of things. Where the most acute issue is security.
