Bitconnect Website is Down | Hack or Scam?
Updates to come. I am guessing it may be another hack or bug exploit.
I really hope they aren't cutting and running with the returned money.
UPDATE: I can now access my dashboard, and the price of BCC is back to up where is was before the temporary crash! Hopefully they will release a statement explaining what went on and how they will prevent it in the future. Very concerning from a cyber security setpoint.
Second UPDATE: Its back down again.
Happens at times. It's not a scam...sigh...good grief...everytime a glitch happens, ...yada yada yada.
Probably another DDOS.
It is still very concerning to have these issues coming repeatedly. Shows that the coding of the platform was hastily made. The bright side is that this will hopefully improve the security of the platform.
