A dutch startup has come up with one idea of how we can use our bodies to generate income.

Mining Cryptocurrencies with your body heat

It sure sounds like science fiction and too good to be true but apparently this has already happened successfully.

A dutch company, The institute of human Obsolescence founded in 2015 and based in The Hague, Netherlands whom present themselves as an organization devoted to exploring how individuals can capitalize on biological, and data production labor through art and research projects, have all ready, with success had a research project where a specific body suite harvests heat from the human body to mine cryptocurrencies.

If mining cryptocurrencies with your body while you sleep isn't a dream come true then I don't know what is!

The body suite uses thermoelectric generators to store the body heat, and then converts the heat to electricity.

Their Research Project

In IoHO's research project they used the electricity to mine cryptocurrency. In total 37 participants "worked" for 212 hours between them. They harvested 127,210 milliwatts of electricity and mined 16,954 coins. 80% of the mined coins went to the participants and the rest to the institute.
