Ripple price analysis KW03 - End of the downtrend in sight?

The last few days determined price crash came to an end at 0.74 euros, but could not end the ongoing since early January downward trend.

The ripple course has fallen this week.
In the wake of the other cryptocurrency crashes Ripple has been torn into the depth, but could catch at 0.74 euros again and tests the existing since New Year downward trend.
Most important support is 1.00 Euro, the most important short-term resistance at 1.36 Euro.
Apparently the bloodbath of the last days came to an end! In the case of Ripple, a price increase of 58% has been recorded since the end of the fall. Nevertheless, Ripple is still in a downtrend, whose resistance has been tested but not broken. Likewise, the price remains well below the exponential moving averages over one or two weeks (shown as blue or red lines in the main panel).

The MACD (second panel from the top) is negative, but the MACD line (blue) is above the signal (orange).

The RSI (third panel from the top) is 43 and is thus bearish.

Overall, therefore, the situation is bearish according to indicators. Price and trend, however, show that there is an improvement in sight, the price must, like the indicators, recover from the recent sell-off. Therefore, the overall assessment is neutral and will decide on the current test of the downtrend.

The most important support is described by the shoulder between the 27th and 28th of December and is at 1.00 Euro. Should this support be broken, the next target for the downtrend would be defined by yesterday's minimum at € 0.74.

The most important resistance is described by the exponential moving average over one week, which currently stands at 1.36 euros. Should these be broken, the downtrend would have come to an end. A next resistance on the way to new heights is described by the exponential moving average over two weeks at 1.50 euros.
