JSE Javascript Embedded Cryptocurrency - Browser Based Mining.
I thought I'd sign up to the JSE platform and give it a go a few days ago. 1 JSE is currently pegged to US$1.00, so it's going to be interesting to see just how viable mining JSE is as time goes on.
Signing up to the site was easy. It did ask for name and address though, which may put some people off, but having a PO Box, that wasn't a deal breaker for me.
One of the first things I did was to set up a couple of my websites as miners. That involved copying a small bit of Javascript into the code of the websites and then to wait for visitor to start mining for me.
You can see the mining in action at my Steemit verification page at http://thorhammaraxx.com/steemit-info
Results After 3 Days
Browser Mining & Website Visitors
I don't get a great stack of hits on the sites that I set up the mining script but they have returned almost 1JSE so far.
Browser mining has returned just over 3JSE in three days of mining

Really interesting post, thanks.
Not sure it's entirely ethical though to be embedding mining scripts in websites though.
Cheers @buggedout.
I agree that it would be unethical to do it in stealth mode.
All JSE mining website visitors receive a small popup that alerts them that mining is happening and they then have the option to opt out.
Steem on.
Wow! Interesting.I will try JSE
Yeah, why not? Nothing to lose by trying it.
Who knows, JSEcoin may turn out to be a while endeavour.
Time will tell.
