Bitcoin, Ethereum Which one is better for investment
CoinDesk released its State of Blockchain Q1 2017 study, which details recent trends, statistics and sentiment around cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
In this report two slides are very interesting. When put together and compared with current data, they point to what could be a fundamental shift in market dynamics.
Interestingly, this has not slowed down the increase in the bitcoin price, which has climbed 160% since the end of Q1. However, point to a growing interest in ethereum as an investment vehicle. The price of the platform's ether token has increased by 420% in the same period.
This looks like new money is coming into cryptocurrencies and choosing ethereum over other alternatives. Bitcoin’s trading volume is also increasing, but not by as much.

As a store of value, i think bitcoin is a better coin. Ethereum price has been spiking and i think it's because of all the icos recently.
It remains to be seen how all this smart contract stuff is going to be implemented.
I agree with you that ETH market cap will left Bitcoin behind.
May be this is a good decision too.
I don't own either. but i would say ethereum, simply because there is a higher dollar possible upside, but since bitcoin is quite limited in the supply available, i have heard such price predictions as high as $100,000.00 per bitcoin, though that seems a bit on the high side to me.
This prediction I think is so far.
Best bet is to buy and hold both long term. They are both different breeds.
