Wait and see, its never gonna raise like BTC, DASH etc.. It will stay in the dark, and stay there. It may grow a bit, but then it'll collapse again.
Something triggered the growth, and I am not so sure it is just the darknet as the article is speculating. You might be right as Dash got the same privacy features as Monero.
