Who doesn't love free stuff? As cryptocurrency miners, we are always striving to get the most coins we can. But free coins? Well those are like icing on the cake.

Airdrops

Airdrops are a popular way to distribute coins to a large audience. The idea behind an airdrop is to get coins into as many hands as possible so that people become familiar with your coin and start to trade and use them.

Some airdrops require that you have and hold certain coins in your wallet. For example, the recent INGIS airdrop was given to everyone who held NXT coins in their wallet at the snapshot taken on December 28, 2017.

Other airdrops are given out to people who register for the airdrop and/or perform some task.

EtherBTC is a new coin that is offering a free airdrop to anyone who registers at their website https://etherbtc.io/.

Since EtherBTC is an ERC20 token that exists on the Ethereum blockchain, you will need an Ethereum wallet address that supports ERC20 tokens. The easiest way to get one is to create a free wallet at MyEtherWallet.com and use it to register for the airdrop.

Don't Wait!

The airdrop is scheduled to occur on February 14, 2018 or when they reach 100,000 registered participants, whichever comes first. I can't say whether someday EtherBTC will be worth thousands of dollars or not, but I do know that it costs nothing to register for the airdrop, so I'm not risking anything but a little time to participate.

Until next time...

I will check this out, great post Brother! Everyone likes FREE, seems like a no brainer.

Yeah, maybe when this coin tops out at $20,000 we can throw a big party for all Steemians. I guess it could happen, after all only a few years ago, it cost 10,000 Bitcoin to buy a couple pizzas.

Did you say the words "party" & "pizza"?????
I'm all in!!!!!

I agree, free stuff is the best! Especially when it may eventually be worth something.

just take a example of bitcoin cash ;)
