I think it is currently attracting a lot of attention from the media that drives investments in. There are a lot of projects related to cryptocurrencies that just attract investments because of the #cryptocurrencies keyword in them. Once such such hype based projects fail and hype will lower down in the media, only reasonable projects will stay. The long term growth is still to be, though I'm quite sure there will be a price correction throughout the way.
