Lloyd's Bank Hostile to Wirex

Information to UK bitcoin, Lloyd's Bank customers.

Following a couple of failed attempts to link my Lloyd's credit card to my Wirex account, I called customer services today and it was very interesting.

I was told that Lloyd's policy is that ALL sites where you can purchase crypto are flagged for CC use, and under no circumstances will they allow payments to be made. Lloyd's Debit Cards don't seem to have the same flag in place and have been using mine without any issues.

However you can link your CC to a Revolut account and simply do a transfer to Wirex on both Debit and Credit cards without any hassle.
