What's up, Poloniex?
It's been hours since I transfered some SBD to my account. Still I see nothing. Is there a reasonable explanation why it takes hours to get through or do I have to join the ever growing queue of disgruntled poloniexians?
Yes, I'm talking to you, @poloniex.
You know damn well I have done this numbers of times before and it has never taken much more than a few minutes. So why it takes hours this time is beyond me.
Another guy had the same problem some days ago. I dont know whats the problem, since Im new her and all, but maybe its because of the Hardfork 19. Its basically a system update. Can someone follow me up on this?
HF isn't due before a couple of hours. So I doubt it.

Same thing happened to me. Been waiting one month now for them to resolve this after posting a ticket.
I stopped using Poloniex.
They could have posted a message why this is so. Thank you for letting me know.
It looks like the SBD wallet is temporarily disabled (I don't know if it is only me)
im also getting the same notice ! I tried selling my steem or exchanging it earlier and there's now more then just steem and steem dollars that are disabled!
Sorry this has happened to you but thanks for the heads up. They really should tell people before they do stuff like this...

use blocktrades.us and convert it to btc.. then you can send it to Poloniex or if you are in Canada check out Quadriga.
yes I all ready use quad ! But I need to convert it first , I signed up on bittrex but I now I need to learn all over again how to do it , its annoying enough as it is and I was starting to figure it out on poloniex when this happened ! LOL! There's no good explanations on how to do it when I googled it ! Thanks for the info !👍
I used OL. popped up in 8 secs of sbd from steemit to OL today. been hearing probs of poloniex on steemit of not frequent updates to community. so made me hesistant to use it.
I know. I have done that several times as well. I was in a hurry this time. That's why I sent it directly to polo.
I've been waiting four days on 800.000STEEM and 200SBD @funkit. Nothing. Not even an acknowledgement that they received my funs. Radio.....fucking....silence on over $2000. Thanks for resteeming these @thecrpytofiend. I'm already crafting my mean public Poloniex post.
I feel your pain. And try to split it up in smaller portions just in case.
Its been disabled for a couple days.. There are hundreds of transfers that havent been credited yet. Unfortunately the millions of dollars they make a day don't go toward customer service..
It was not disabled when I sent the transfer. I was there and fetched the memo.
happened to a lot of us.. they'll get around to it.. eventually... Ive got 2 transfers on hold and 2 tickets on the go so I feel your pain.. its on the blockchain.. they arent going to just "keep it"...
Poloniex isn't that good
It's terrible to hear that you're having issues with your transfers to Poloniex. I've read before that people have had issues with long transactions, no feedback and vague information about why something doesn't even work.
You're not the first these past weeks to say they have issues with them.
Solution is to use an Open DEX
The best solution is to not use a centralized exchange at all. I suggest looking at #bitshares and OpenLedger.io, a Open Decentralized Exchange based on the same system that Steem(it) is based on, the Graphine Blockchain system.
